For those hunters desirous of a classic upland gun, Dickinson Arms has debuted the Royal Series Over/Under. The shotgun boasts a hand-removeable side-lock, designed with an intercepting safety sear and additional pin anchoring over and above typical five-pin models. Set in a Turkish-walnut stock, the receiver is CNC machined from a solid block of molybdenum chrome steel, and finished with Bone Charcoal case hardening, making every gun distinct from the other. Further ornamentation includes hand-engraved English scrolling on the receiver, and 24 TPI checkering on the stock.

The Royal series is not just a pretty face, however. Dickinson also intends the gun for rugged, long-term performance. It features a
gated barrel selector, automatic ejectors, heavy-duty hammer springs and precision CNC-machined internal components. It is available in both 12-gauge and 20-gauge versions, and a range of barrel lengths including 24-, 26-, 28- and 30-inches to cover a wide range of shooting styles. A carrying case, and five thin-walled chokes are included with the gun.

Hardware Review: Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. BE.S.T

The Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. BE.S.T. is, put simply, on the fast track to being considered a waterfowling marvel. Standing for Advanced Impact technology, the SBE 3 A.I. shoots its shot with  improved downrange results thanks to a very, very proprietary barrel technology that actually assists in energy retention for greater downrange velocity. Sounds crazy, right? That’s what I thought too; then I took the gun to Montana’s Bighorn River and had my mind blown.
