Legacy Sports International has announced that its Howa Mini Action will be available in 6.5 Grendel for 2015, making it the first bolt-action of its kind. Current available calibers include .204 Ruger, .222 Rem. and .223 Rem.

6.5 Grendel is suitable for long-range shooting, varmints and medium game.

The chamber and bolt of the new Mini Action are roughly 12 percent shorter than regular short actions. Such a feature produces a shorter bolt throw and less overall weight on the rifle. The Mini Action is available in three barrel configurations and features a three position safety and a HACT two-stage trigger. Every Howa Mini Action rifle is factory equipped with a synthetic, detachable magazine and a lightweight composite stock.

The Mini Action ships with MSRPs ranging between $608 and $855, depending on which configuration/package consumers choose.
