Bass Pro Shops-Sponsored Austin Dillon OK After Coke Zero 400 Crash

Austin Dillon, driver of NASCAR's No. 3 car, has been released from the hospital after sustaining injuries in a horrific crash at the Coke Zero 400 over the holiday weekend. According to reports, Dillon sustained only bruises to his forearm and tailbone. Five fans were also treated were minor injuries, and are likewise OK.

Dillon's patriotically-themed No. 3 car, sponsored largely by Bass Pro Shops and sporting an NRA Museums logo, was sent spiraling into the air Sunday night at Daytona International Speedway. Video of the incident can be seen here.

Dillon is the grandson of racing legend and NRA 2nd Vice President, Richard Childress.
