Weatherby has announced a new partnership with Delta Waterfowl, one of the leading non-profit conservation groups dedicated to ducks and duck hunters in North America.

The partnership includes Weatherby's support of the First Hunt program, which provides resources for novice waterfowlers as well as experienced mentors. First Hunt is the largest waterfowl-specific hunter recruitment program in North America.

"Weatherby shares Delta Waterfowl's passion for promoting duck hunting and conservation, now and into the future," said Adam Weatherby, executive vice president/chief operating officer. "We look forward to a partnership that will benefit ducks and duck hunters around the country."

Delta Waterfowl will also begin featuring Weatherby shotguns in fundraisers at more than 250 chapter events nationwide. The funds raised from the local events help support the organization's various projects and programs.

"We are very happy to partner with a strong brand like Weatherby," said Tom Perrier, Delta Waterfowl's director of corporate partnerships. "They understand the important role that conservation plays. Weatherby is a like-minded organization that embraces our mission."
