Weaver Optics, one of the most trusted names in optics, rings and bases and an industry mainstay for 80 years, announces a new partnership with Willie Robertson and his Buck Commander crew. The Buck Commander Series of riflescopes (MSRP: $282.95 - $405.49) is the result of the collaboration between Weaver and the Buck Commanders and will be available mid-spring 2010.

Take Command of the Hunt

Son of legendary waterfowl hunter Phil Robertson and an essential part of the famous Duck Commanders, Willie Robertson demonstrates his passion for whitetails with the new Weaver Buck Commander scopes. Comprised of six offerings in three magnification ranges (2.5-10x42mm, 3-12x50mm and 4-16x42mm), each scope offers a matte finish, the choice between Dual-X or Weaver's proprietary Command-X ballistic drop correction reticle and side focus parallax on select models.

As a native of West Monroe, Louisianna, Willie is widely known for his colorful personality and passion for the outdoors. And his Buck Commanders are no different. The Buck Commander crew is comprised of baseball greats Adam LaRoche, Chipper Jones, Matt Duff, Tom Martin and Ryan; each avid fans of the Weaver brand and equally passionate about whitetail hunting.

Loaded with Whitetail Features
Based on input from Willie Robertson, designed by Weaver engineers and manufactured in the Philippines, the Buck Commander Series include:
• Fully multi-coated lenses
• Four times zoom range
• Side focus parallax (select models)
• Rugged one-piece tube construction
• Weaver's Command-X ballistic drop correction reticle (select models)
• Easy to use reset-to-zero, finger adjustable turrets (no caps to lose)
• Fogproof / shockproof / waterproof construction
