Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks staff confirmed the sighting of a grizzly bear in north-central Montana last month.

Per an April 1, 2020 press release from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADFG), department commissioner Dough Vincent-Lang closed all black- and brown-bear hunts due to health and safety concerns stemming from COVID-19.
