Browning Packs have done well since first hitting the market last year—they received our Golden Bullseye Award for Gear of the Year, after all—and the brand seems intent on upping the ante for 2016. The first new introduction was announced this week in the Buck1700, a lightweight pack designed specifically for the tree stand hunter.

Browning's new line of packs, produced by licensee Signature Products Group, collectively were named our 2016 Gear of the Year.

The one that caught my eye: the Browning Billy 1700RT Lumbar Hunting Pack, which boasts 1,700 cubic inches of storage space, handles heavy loads with ease and weighs a mere 2.5 pounds.
