More than 200,000 hunters, shooters, anglers, RVers and virtually every other flavor of outdoor enthusiast will attend NRA’s Great American Outdoor Show (GAOS). It opens Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa., and is the place to be if you want to see your favorite pursuit’s latest and greatest, book a trip and more.

More than 200,000 enthusiasts filled Pennsylvania’s Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg, Penn., when the annual NRA Great American Outdoor Show returned Feb. 1 to 9.

Mark your calendars for Feb. 1 through Feb. 9, because the biggest, open-to-the-public outdoor show on the planet is coming to Harrisburg, Penn. Whether you’re a hunter, shooter, fisherman, boater, camper or simply love all the outdoors has to offer, it’s the place to be early next month.

Follow along for an average day at the Great American Outdoor Show, filled to the brim with exhibitors, excitement and educational opportunities. The show will continue until Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023.

Join fellow hunters at the NRA Great American Outdoor Show, the world’s largest outdoor show, from Feb. 4-12. This nine-day event in Harrisburg, Pa., celebrates the hunting, fishing and outdoor traditions observed by millions of Americans.

Over 165,000 people made the trip to Harrisburg for GAOS, and local officials estimate that the show contributes $75 million to the local economy each year.

In 2013, only weeks before the annual “Harrisburg show” was to begin, the event’s producer announced it had banned the sale or display of AR-style rifles. The sporting world was angered, and responded en masse to force a boycott. A year later, the NRA stepped in to rebrand the event the Great American Outdoor Show.

On Feb. 8, during the Great American Outdoors Show, the Pope and Young Club convened a special panel of judges for a potential world-record black bear.
