During the 36th Annual Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) Banquet & Auction, which was held Sept. 10, legendary NASCAR Hall-of-Famer, sportsman, lifelong conservationist, and immediate past Chairman of the CSF Board of Directors Richard Childress was honored with the Dingell-Young Sportsmen’s Legacy Award—CSF’s highest Award.

On May 21, the Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation, along with Safari Club International and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, completed briefing in a trio of lawsuits brought by animal extremist groups to relist wolves in the Northern Rocky Mountain region under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

The Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation (SAF) has appealed a court order denying a preliminary injunction that prohibited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from enforcing a ban on importing puppies into the United States.

On Friday, March 7, the Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation (SAF), along with Safari Club International (SCI) and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF), filed for summary judgment in a trio of lawsuits brought by animal-extremist groups to relist wolves in the Northern Rocky Mountain region under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

On February 25, the Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation filed an objection to a magistrate judge’s recommendation to deny SAF’s request for preliminary injunction in its lawsuit against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) puppy ban.

Animal extremist groups have recently announced their decisions to hire additional attorneys to challenge predicted federal government regulations and actions regarding energy, the environment and endangered species.

Johnny Morris, conservation legend and founder of Bass Pro Shops, was celebrated at the 35th Annual Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) Banquet and Auction on Sept. 11, where he received highest award given by CSF—the Dingell-Young Sportsmen’s Legacy Award.

The American Wildlife Conservation Partners (AWCP)—comprised of the nation’s top 52 sporting-conservation organizations, including the NRA—released its Wildlife for the 21st Century, Volume VII (W-21) on Sept. 11.

The Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation filed suit in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to rescind a new rule restricting the importation of dogs into the United States.
