Weatherby, Inc. has expanded its bolt-action lineup with the Mark V Hunter. Boasting a freshly designed polymer stock that echoes the lines of the Backcountry 2.0 family, the gun sports a flat bottomed fore-end, ambidextrous palm swells, and aluminum-pillar construction. Finish is Granite Speckle.

Threaded 1/2X28 TPI for use with a suppressor or brake, the Mark V Hunter’s barreled action is sealed from the elements beneath a shell of Cobalt Cerakote. A deep-fluted bolt with removable knob not only trims a little weight and helps clear dust and debris, it also reduces the bearing surface within the action resulting in smoother operation.
