On this week's #SundayGunday, we're taking a look at the Traditions Outfitter G3 Pro Series, the company’s fullest-featured single-shot rifle yet. The three features shooters should most appreciate on the Outfitter G3 Pro Series are length of pull and height of comb adjustments, as well as a newly threaded muzzle. The rifle allows for length of pull adjustments via included spacers, that can be added and removed as desired. Comb height adjustment is even simpler, with a single screw in the side of the stock allowing it to be raised or lowered with a  simple turn. Finally, the muzzle is threaded to M18x1 or 5/8x24 TPI, depending on caliber, to make it simple to fit the suppressor, muzzle break or other accessory of your choosing. This could go a long way to help quiet the report and soften the recoil of the prodigious chamberings the rifle is offered in, like .450 Bushmaster, .45-70 Government, .35 Whelen, 350 Legend and 360 Buckhammer.

The break action rifle is opened by a tab on the front of the trigger guard. This has been designed to work in tandem with the rifle’s Elite XT trigger system and its manual cross-block safety, to allow the gun to be broken open with its safety engaged for added security when checking the chamber or unloading. A rebounding hammer rounds out this incredibly safe rifle’s safety features.

The barrel, which is fluted and 22-inches long in all currently available chamberings, is crafted from Chromoly steel with an 11-degree target crown. Beneath, the fore-end is removable at the press of a button, so the rifle can be easily taken down. For more information on this attractive single-shot, which comes with black furniture, a silver Cerakoted barrel, and retails for $749.95 with an included 3-9x40 BDC scope, visit traditionsfirearms.com, and for more #SundayGunday any day of the week, check out our playlist on YouTube, where all previous episodes are archived.
