This week on #SundayGunday, we’re checking out the Hunter’s Pack from Scent Thief. Before we get into the pack though, a little background on Scent Thief.

Scent Thief is currently the only product on the market that uses a patented No Smell technology. What this does is fairly far afield from how cover scents generally work. Rather than attempting to fool a deer or other game animal’s nose into thinking you smell like earth, or trees, or some other sort of “safe” scent, it relaxes the animal’s epithelium so it can no longer detect any sort of odor—and that includes human. The Hunter’s Pack gives you a number of ways to accomplish this.

Scent Thief Hunter's Pack

First off is the most traditional. A 24-ounce bottle of field spray allows hunter’s to cover their scent just before taking to the field. Safe for skin, clothing and the environment, field spray will keep a hunter on stand covered from wary noses. A 32-ounce refill bottle is also included in the pack.

Spraying scent thief

Next up comes the body wash and shampoo. For hunters looking to take their scent control to the next level while still remaining clean, this combination gel is for body and hair cleansing. Using it leaves hair and skin clean, but with the same scent-killing properties as the field spray.

Wafer in tree

Finally, and perhaps more intriguingly, come the wafers. Meant to be used in conjunction with Scent Thief’s Field Spray, Scent Thief Wafers are designed to be hung in a tree or trees surrounding a hunter’s position, for the final layer in protection when the wind begins to change or swirl. Hang it downwind from your position, to allow the wind to carry the heavy Scent Thief oils right to any passing deer's nostrils. Scent Thief wafers come in a resealable pack, allowing the wafer to be used for two full days as long as it is resealed after every use. Additionally, spraying one down with field spray before replacing it in its sealed baggie can make it last even longer.
