Chiappa Firearms expands its rimfire lineup with the introduction of the Bushranger M1-22 Semi-Auto, a .22 LR rifle built to bridge familiar sporting ergonomics with modern accessory capability. The Bushranger is intended for recreational shooting, skill development and range use, but could also excel in the hands of any small game or varmint hunter.

The Bushranger runs on a semi-automatic action paired with a 16.5-inch barrel fitted with an aluminum barrel shroud and 1/2×28 TPI muzzle threading. The compact barrel length keeps the rifle responsive and easy to maneuver while maintaining compatibility with common rimfire muzzle devices. Feeding is handled via detachable 10-round magazines, with two included, enabling quick reloads and uninterrupted range sessions.

Next up, the gun's receiver is topped with a full-length Picatinny rail, allowing shooters to mount optics anywhere along the rail depending on preferred eye relief and setup. Beneath the fore-end, an M-Lok attachment surface provides space for accessories, such as bipods or other support equipment.

Finally, the gun sports a combination of traditional wood furniture with a contemporary interface, to give the Bushranger a balance between classic rimfire familiarity and current rifle adaptability. At 5.43 pounds and 29.25 inches overall length, the platform remains lightweight and manageable.
