Dryshod has introduced two models of its Overland series boot in men's sizes. Intended as a "backdoor-go-to" for any hunter or outdoorsman, the Overland comes in Overland-Hi (over the calf) or Overland-Mid (mid-calf) models. Both are distinguished by their DS1 high-traction rubber-molded outsoles, with aggressive tread blocks and natural rubber construction for grip on mushy terrain. Additional features include an EVA midsole that helps block the cold, a removable molded EVA sock liner and a nylon shank for stability.

As with all Dryshod waterproof boots, the Overland Hi and Overland Mid are 100-percent waterproof, top to bottom. Each boot is built around a 5 mm Densoprene insulated foam bootie, triple stitched and treated with Hydrokote to repel surface water. To further keep feet dry and comfortable, Dryshod boots include a four-way stretch breathable air-mesh lining. This lining construction utilizes structured top and bottom layers separated by thousands of vertical fibers, to provide continual air circulation when walking, allowing feet to breathe and minimizing moisture buildup. Finally, a roll-down calf pipe; hand-laid natural rubber overlays; double-reinforced toe and triple-reinforced heel areas; reinforced tuck boards for added stability; back pull tabs; a generous kick heel for easy boot removal; and a comfortable profile sized to athletic-shoe standards round out this rainy-day rubber. On this week's #SundayGunday, we’re checking out a true stalwart of the firearms world, the Benelli M4. Long held in high regard by concerned citizens looking for a pedigreed self-defense shotgun, quite a few have been plugged to reduce capacity, and used in the turkey woods over the years, as a true multi-purpose scattergun. Why? Well, as it turns out, there is very little that separates a good defensive shotgun from a good turkey gun. Learn more about it in this exclusive video.

Recipe: Crispy Sticky Venison

This recipe is a great way to turn a simple venison roast into something that tastes as if it came from your favorite takeout place. The meat becomes tender on the inside and crisp on the outside, and the sticky sauce brings together sweet, salty and spicy flavors. Serve it over a bed of rice and watch it disappear.
