The smallest member of Bushnell’s new Powersync line of solar-rechargeable batteries, the Solar Wrap Mini weighs just over 3 ounces and utilizes a highly transportable 4¼x1¼-inch cylindrical design.

Deployed, the Mini is more than 18-inches long and reveals its flexible solar panel that can efficiently collect power even in only partly sunny conditions.

The power is stored in a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can be pre-charged by a mini-USB cable prior to excursions and continually trickle-charged via the solar panel. Charging time, from zero to full, is approximately four hours from a wall outlet or about twice that using the panel, depending on light conditions.

Output is from a USB cable port that can accept charging cords from various electronics. As an estimate of energy storage capacity, the unit is advertised as able to fully charge a camera two-and-a-half times or a smartphone once. It ships with an MSRP of $90.
