This week, were taking a look at the Remington Model 783. A bolt-gun that combines an economic price tag with performance worthy of a more expensive rifle, the 783 was initially a Marlin design, which Remington adapted for its own purposes. Coming in walnut- or synthetic-stocked variants, there is surely a 783 out there to suit anyone's particular tastes or needs. For more information on this field-capable long-gun, check out the video embedded above, hosted by Editor in Chief Scott Olmsted, and Digital Associate Editor, David Herman. Its a bit hard to find a 783 right now, given Remington's ongoing reorganization, but models can still be found at retailers like cabelas.com for a shelf price of $379.99.
