Wilson Combat is proud to release the 40th Anniversary Melvin Forbes Tribute NULA. This limited-edition rifle is a testament to Melvin Forbes's mission to build lightweight, accurate firearms, celebrating four decades of innovative craftsmanship and the enduring legacy of Forbes’s design.

Forty years ago, Melvin Forbes revolutionized hunting rifles, designing one of the most innovative firearms of modern times: the NULA Model 20. Forbes dropped rifle weights to unheard of lows by pioneering the use of space-age composites. Not stopping at weight savings, he designed his rifles to an exacting level of precision, giving hunters unfailing accuracy they could depend on. For his work on the NULA, legendary writers like David E. Petzal have called Forbes “...one of the handful of men most responsible for the radical transformation of the American hunting rifle.”

The limited edition 40th Anniversary Melvin Forbes Tribute NULA is chambered for the versatile .284 Winchester, known for its flat trajectory and excellent long-range performance. It features a meticulously crafted tapered barrel with a 18.5-inch twist rate, a Timney Elite Hunter trigger with a smooth 2.75- to 3.25-pound trigger pull, and a redesigned one-piece bolt handle for smoother operation and improved ergonomics.

Following the NULA tradition, each rifle is furnished with an ultra-lightweight AG Composites carbon-fiber stock with reinforced receiver walls for increased strength. Enthusiasts will also recognize Forbes's beloved striped camo pattern, expertly applied and reintroduced by Wilson Combat's renowned paint shop as the limited MFT (Melvin Forbes Tribute) woodland camo. This classic pattern—along with the limited laser-engraved floorplate—ensures that each 40th Anniversary Melvin Forbes Tribute NULA is not just a firearm, but a collectible piece of shooting history.
