undefinedShowmanship can go a long way at a show like the 143rd NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, and few companies brought as much energy as Cold Steel. The idea seemed simple. Want to get folks to stop by your booth? Dress like a pirate.

Though the elaborate swords that some of the booth employees had strapped to their hips weren't real blades, the ones in the company's display cases were. Among the "New for 2014" offerings are the 1917 Frontier Bowie and Warcraft Tanto.

Almost sword-like, the Frontier Bowie features a wide, keen hand-sharpened blade with a generous clip and large fuller. Made from 1055 Carbon Steel, it is heat treated to a hard spring temper and blued. The Warcraft Tanto, meanwhile, features DLC coated American CPM 3-V steel.
