Platinum Stalker Lede

Bergara has introduced the Bergara Platinum Stalker, designed for hunters who appreciate the traditional look and feel of a wood stock rifle, but want the stiffness and rigidity that laminate offers. Built on a pepper-colored laminate Monte Carlo stock, it delivers timeless style along with the weather-resistant durability of laminate. The caliber offerings start at the 6.5 Creedmoor and elevate all the way to the .375 H&H, appealing to hunters wanting a rifle for brown bear in Alaska or dangerous game in Africa.

The Platinum Stalker is built on Bergara's Premier action and finished in stainless Cerakote, promoting smooth cycling, corrosion resistance and durability. The Platinum Stalker has a 4.5-barrel profile. This fluted stainless steel barrel balances strength, rigidity and weight reduction. Designed for repeatable precision and sub-MOA accuracy, every barrel is manufactured in-house using Bergara's proprietary honing and rifling process. Equipped with a machined M5-pattern bottom metal, this internal magazine system combines the traditional reliability of a hinged floorplate with the strength and fit only machined components can offer. The included Omni muzzle brake effectively reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise, helping hunters stay on target for quicker follow-up shots.

The TriggerTech Primary trigger delivers a crisp, zero-creep break and consistent performance in all conditions, and is factory tuned for precision. The Platinum Stalker has a Remington 700 footprint which offers a broad compatibility with aftermarket stocks, bases and triggers, giving hunters full customization flexibility.

This Platinum Stalker weighs in at 6.75 pounds, and has an MSRP starting at $1899.99.

Have you ever spent hours at the range zeroing a rifle only to learn it is nowhere near center when you go to confirm it at camp?
