Federal to Release More than 20 Centerfire and 25 Shotshell Options in 2026

Federal Centerfire And Shotshell

Federal Ammunition has announced more than 20 new centerfire rifle ammunition options for 2026. A new product line, Federal Subsonic, will be introduced, along with many new additions to existing product lines, including Terminal Ascent, Berger Elite Hunter, Fusion Tipped, and several more.

Federal Centerfire offerings

The Federal Subsonic new product line comprises four cartridge options designed for peak noise reduction and effective low-velocity expansion through suppressors. The new loads are Fusion .30-30 Winchester 170-grain, Fusion .45-70 Government 300-grain, Fusion Tipped .308 Winchester 190-grain and 300 Blackout 190-grain.

Federal Premium Terminal Ascent bonded construction bullets feature high ballistic coefficients and nickel plating, plus the patented Slipstream polymer tip initiates expansion. The two new loads are 6.5mm PRC 140-grain and 300 Remington Ultra Magnum 175-grain.

The Berger Elite Hunter thin-jacketed hunting bullet touts a high ballistic coefficient and is loaded with Premium components to incredibly tight tolerances. The loads produce lethal accuracy at extended distances. The new load is 7mm PRC 195-grain.

The 6mm ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge) is designed for the AR-15 platform, offering low recoil and high accuracy for long-range shooting. The three new loads from Federal include American Eagle TMJ 110-grain, Fusion Tipped 110-grain, Gold Medal Berger BT Target 108-grain.

In collaboration with Henry Repeating Arms, Federal's Golden Boy Collector's Edition is rifle loads packed in commemorative, collectible packaging. It pairs with Henry's 250th anniversary U.S.A. edition of its iconic Golden Boy lever-action centerfire rifle. The new product is 45-70 Govt. 300-gr Jacketed Soft Point (JSP).

Federal Shotshells

Next up come the more than twenty-five new shotshell offerings Federal is introducing in 2026. This includes two all-new ammunition product lines which are Rob Roberts Raptor and All-American. Plus, several Realtree 40th Anniversary Special Edition turkey loads will be offered for the upcoming spring hunting seasons.

Rob Roberts Raptor waterfowl loads extract the tightest, most efficient patterns from Rob Roberts Raptor Series chokes. The new loads are 2-3/4-inch, 12-gauge, 1-3/8-ounce, 1400-fps in 2, 3, or 4 shot, and 3-inch, 20-gauge, 1-ounce, 1400-fps in 2, 3, or 4 shot.

All-American competition Trap and Skeet loads use a Podium wad customized for straight-wall hulls and are trusted by the world's best competitive shooters. The twelve new 2-3/4-inch, 12-gauge loads range from 1 ounce to 1-1/8 ounce in 7.5, 8, or 9 shot. The 2-3/4-inch, 20-gauge load is 7/8-ounce in 7.5 or 8 shot.

Finally, Federal is helping Realtree celebrate four decades of camouflage design and innovation with five turkey loads in commemorative packaging. Two Grand Slam lead loads are 3-inch, 12-gauge, and 20-gauge in No. 5 shot. The Realtree 40th Anniversary Special Edition comprises three Heavyweight TSS loads: 3-inch, 12-gauge, 20-gauge, and 410-bore in No. 9 shot.

Federal Ammunition Awarded Contracts to Provide Rifle and Shotgun Ammunition to the Canadian Government
