Editorial Director John Zent tests out the new 20-gauge 828U Field, from Benelli. The company's first ever over-under shotgun, the 828U comes with an aluminum receiver and a walnut stock. This stock is adjustable via a shim and spacer kit, not to mention its interchangeable comb inserts.

This 20-gauge boasts a strong steel lockup system, which is designed to put the majority of stress on the breach face, rather than the hinge pin or the receiver. With a carbon-fiber sighting rib, red fiber-optic front tube, and a 26-inch barrel, this variant of the 828U weighs in around a mere six pounds.
