This week, we’re taking a closer look at the Leupold SX-4 Pro Guide HD spotting scope, paired with the company's Alpine tripod. A lightweight combo, the SX-4 nonetheless offers incredible magnification and clarity thanks to its 3X zoom ratio, while the tripod keeps things stable with stiff carbon fiber. Two magnification ranges are available for the SX-4—a 15-45x-65mm, as well as a 20-60x-85mm—both with the option of a straight or angled eyepiece. For more information on this superb spotting combo, check out the video embedded above, hosted by Editor in Chief Scott Olmsted.
