Berger's 7mm PRC Elite Hunter ammo builds upon the promise of excellent exterior ballistics coupled with long-range terminal performance. It features the 175 Grain Elite Hunter projectile with an impressive 0.336 G7 Ballistic Coefficient (BC) and the heaviest-in-class 195 Grain Elite Hunter which boasts an industry-leading 0.387 BC.
Berger Elite Hunter projectiles and ammunition feature a sleek, high BC hybrid-ogive profile design for hunters who demand an ethical long-range precision solution. Elite Hunters provide 2-3 inches of penetration before producing extreme hydrostatic shock and a massive wound cavity through the vitals. Energy is deposited where it's most effective—inside the animal. Elite Hunter bullets utilize Berger's J4 Hunting Jacket, which is held to the tightest tolerances measuring less than .0003-inches TIR (total indicated runout).
