Being recognized as “best in class” is much easier said than done, but the companies’ products featured in these stories have outdone themselves, and have truly earned the title.

Gear of the Year: YETI Hopper Coolers
The Yeti Hopper Two is a soft-sided cooler built for the field. Available in sizes ranging from the small personal Hopper Flip to a large Hopper 40, these coolers are lined inside with ColdCell rubber foam that provides some of the best insulation available and traps the cold with a leak-proof HydroLok zipper. Its outer shell is made of incredibly dense DryHide material that isn’t easily susceptible to mildew, UV rays or the punishment hunters can put on a cooler.

Available in new Field Tan and Fog Gray, these coolers are perfect for toting along the makings of a great field-lunch, or toting home the makings of a hard-earned dinner. As AH Digital Managing Editor Shawn Skipper boasts, the Hopper line is "tough as nails" (AmericanHunter.org, May '16).

Editor's Note: Winning products must be tested by the editors, meet or exceed expectations on innovation, and provide hunters and shooters with value for their money. NRA Publications will present the annual Golden Bullseye Awards at an invitation-only breakfast during the 2017 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Atlanta, Ga., April 28-30.
