Halo Optics has released the new, minimalist, CCL300 laser rangefinder. Intended for use in the field, where ranging non-reflective targets is a must, the CCL300 is built with bowhunters in mind, delivering quick readings from 10- to 50-yards on game animals. Not just quick, the unit is also precise, delivering readings to +/- one yard of the target. A 5X magnification, meanwhile, allows for good assessment of shooting lanes for twigs, branches and other small obstacles.

When shot distances increase, the CCL300 still performs, with a maximum ranging distance of 600 yards (albeit this on a reflective target). With a one-year warranty, the CCL300 is fully water-resistance for use in the great outdoors.
