Montana Rifle Company is so passionate about the hunting industry that it rolled out a new cabin-style booth. While I can attest to the quality of their dangerous game guns firsthand, the company now offers a beautiful AVR stock in XX Walnut with full wrap-around front checkering.

The new Cascade Extreme is a limited edition, 50-rifle package deal. The rifle's green composite stock matches its green Leupold scope and the rifle and scope have matching serial numbers.  Thanks to the gun's muzzlebrake, a 300 Mag. kicks like a .22!

Varmint and predator hunters have the new Prairie Runner, an easy-to-shoot rifle sporting a simple design with a forest camo laminate stock. Available in right and left hand models, it has a stainless barrel and advanced muzzlebrake design. It's available in 22-250 with other cartridges such as 6.5 Creedmoor coming soon.

Hardware Review: Steyr Pro Hunter III SX

While its most recognizable gun remains the ever-futuristic-looking AUG tactical bullpup first made in 1977 and still used by militaries worldwide, Steyr also makes handguns and hunting rifles. Its Pro Hunter III SX rifle is an all-around hunting rifle and a great example of Steyr quality, a trait much easier felt than described. I’ll try it anyway.
