The headline today is "Wrong Dog." Caleb and I checked his wolf trapline. He caught a coyote in a leghold trap designed for a wolf. In fact wolves frequented the area after the coyote was trapped. They might have given the lesser canine fits—but why they didn't kill it is a mystery. Anyway, we could tell there had been a ruckus.
One of the best parts about attending the Great American Outdoor Show, which runs through Sunday at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, is the direct access to just about anything and everything outdoors.
If you think archery is a small niche, take a trip to the Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, Pa., where bow hunting may just be the biggest attraction.
The show floor is huge, so if you want to land a big one you'll have to have some eagle eyes. Or, you can just check the list!
