This week, we’re taking a closer look at Hornady's Precision Hunter ammunition. Using a projectile with similar ballistics to the ELD bullet found in Hornady Match ammunition, Precision Hunter has been further tuned to deadly effect with an ELD-X bullet, which stands for Extremely Low Drag-eXpanding. The bullets are designed for expansion at both low- and high-velocity impacts, while still retaining 50-60 percent of their weight in the latter case, and 85-90 percent in the former. For more information on this deadly accurate ammunition, check out the video embedded above, hosted by Digital Associate Editor, David Herman.
