In honor of Memorial Day, SportEAR is partnering with the Wounded Veterans Waterfowl Club (WVWC) to give combat veterans a free day in the field. Axil, the parent company of SportEAR, is donating hearing protection and a portion of this week's sales to the WVWC. A portion of all sales generated between Monday, May 30 and Friday, June 3 will be donated.

"Many of our customers are military veterans," said Axil CEO Weston Harris. "They are an at-risk group for hearing damage. Through our partnership with Wounded Veterans Waterfowl Club, we hope to help veterans repair more than just their hearing. We will be a part of an overall system that supports active and returning veterans in need."

The Wounded Veterans Waterfowl Club is a non-profit organization made for veterans, by veterans, with the mission to give military and military-affiliated individuals a complete hunting experience free of charge.

"I was out on a hunt with a friend of mine, who is also a veteran," said Corey Doughetry, WVWC founder. "While we were waiting there he turned to me and gave me this deep, heartfelt 'thank you.' I found out later that he nearly committed suicide the night before, but being outdoors in the beauty of nature gave him a new appreciation for life."

SportEAR will be providing its X-Pro Earplugs and M-4 Series Electronic Ear Muffs to the WVWC.
