Winter turkey hunting? You'd better believe it. And, no, we weren't just kicking up hens, either. I'll be honest—I wasn't sure what to expect when I was invited to join Rob Keck (Director of Conservation for Bass Pro Shops) for a late-January trip to Kansas to hunt turkeys. Rob said it'd be like spring turkey hunting on steroids—and he was right. We had long beards gobbling, strutting and fighting. Just in groups of 40 and 50, rather than one at a time. Stay tuned to AmericanHunter.org for video of that in the future. In the meantime, get an inside look at my trip with this gallery.
