This one might need a double take. A trail camera in Doughterty County, Ga., captured an unusual critter: a rhesus macaque monkey hanging onto a game feeder, indulging in a free corn meal. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources and locals are all scratching their heads as to where it came from.

Though some speculate it’s a zoo escapee, nearby facilities have not reported any missing animals. No one knows for certain how long it’s been wandering the Georgia hills, and reports, sightings and photos continued to emerge at the time of our reporting.
