NRA Publications Editorial Director John Zent tests out the Benelli Lupo on a range day at West Virginia's Prospect Hall Hunting Club. While the Lupo already provided a platform precise enough to win American Rifleman's rifle of the year, the gun has recieved several updates for 2021. In Memoriam: Randy Brooks: 1949-2026

Randy Brooks, creator of the famous Barnes X Bullet and the 2016 NRA Golden Bullseye Pioneer Award winner, passed away peacefully on the morning of Aug. 27, 2026.
