Beretta A400 Xplor Unico

In addition being accurate, extremely fast, light and comfortable to shoot, the A400 Xplor Unico handles all loads from 24 to 64 grams, creating a variety of shooting and hunting opportunities for this multi-purpose gun.

Beretta announced its exclusive Blink technology enables the gun to cycle “36 percent faster than any other shotgun on the market.”

The receiver is truly green, though the lighting in this photo shows it is a gray-green. The shotgun features a solid wood-to-metal fit. A shortened receiver designed to decrease overall gun length and enhance balance.

With production in full swing at the Beretta plant in Brescia, Italy, Beretta is prepared to ship what it calls “the most exciting product of the year” worldwide.

A “cut-out” version of the Xplor highlights its internal mechanisms. This view shows the stock’s new X-tra grain oil finish and the technology behind Kick Off 3 (Kick Off Cubed). Beretta’s patented Kick Off mechanism already had two hydraulic dampeners in the stock to reduce recoil, but exclusive to the Xplor, is a third dampener in the stock bolt, resulting in what Beretta attests reduces recoil by up to 70 percent.

The underside of the fore-end showcases the Beretta logo, which pairs well with the gun’s more futuristic design.

The trigger guard of the Xplor, built from technopolymer, fits the gun’s modern look and features an engraved Xplor logo.

One of the most prestigious hotels and conference centers in northern Italy, the Villa Fenaroli Palace Hotel, located just outside Brescia, was the site of the Xplor press conference. Steeped in history, it was built as a private villa in 1735, serving as home to the aristocratic Brescia Avogadro and Fenaroli families for centuries.

The monster foot on display at the Beretta press conference October 8 caused quite the buzz as writers speculated on what was to be unveiled. Stay tuned as this foot makes its debut next month in Beretta’s worldwide advertising campaign.
