Bergara continues to build impressively accurate rifles with smart features, and the new Ridgeback is a prime example. Though it was designed primarily for Precision Rifle Series match shooters, the Ridgeback easily doubles as a hunting rifle when shots are long. The rifle combines Bergara’s two-lug Premier action and premium 416 stainless steel barrel with a Grayboe fiberglass stock, which has an adjustable comb and length of pull. The stock also has built-in slots compatible with Magpul M-Lok accessories, as well as an integrated bubble level behind the action tang to eliminate cant. A TriggerTech trigger, five-round AICS-style detachable box magazine and Cerakote finish are other noteworthy features. With a medium Palma barrel contour, the Ridgeback weighs about 10.5 pounds. It’s available in 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .308 Win., .300 Win. Mag. and .300 PRC. Learn more about it in the video embedded above. MSRP: $2,000; bergarausa.com.
