Some shooters call Federal Premium’s new .224 Valkyrie, a “.223 on steroids.” While that may sound cliché, the point is this new cartridge is the world’s first supersonic, 1,300-yard cartridge designed for AR-15s. It’s loaded in the American Eagle line with 75-grain TMJs; the Federal Premium Gold Medal line with Sierra 90-grain MatchKings; the Federal Premium line with Nosler’s 60-grain Ballistic Tip; and the Fusion MSR line with 90-grain Fusion bullets. Learn more about it in the video embedded above.
