You've heard of air rifles, we suspect. And you've certainly heard of crossbows. But have you heard of an airbow? Up until this week, we hadn't either—until SHOT Show 2016's Media Day at the Range.

Benjamin, the go-to hunting brand from Crosman Corporation, has introduced the revolutionary new Pioneer Airbow for 2016. The Pioneer fires full length, 375 grain arrows at 450 fps and has been receiving YouTube hits since Jim Shockey used it to put down a 2000-pound bison.

"It's made archery accessible to a whole new group of hunters who want the close pursuit of bowhunting but are incapable of drawing a bow or fearful of a crossbow," Shockey said, "It's a game changer."
