Last year, Nosler introduced 26 Nosler to the industry. The cartridge's success prompted an expansion of the family in 2015, and the company has used SHOT Show to roll out its new 28 Nosler.

The company is calling its new release the most powerful 7mm cartridge that's commercially available. It shares the same parent case as the 26 Nosler, as well as the C.O.A.L. of 3.340" allowing this cartridge to be operated in a standard length action for lighter weight and shorter bolt throw when compared to magnum length actions.

160-grain and 175-grain offerings will be available.
