Get a closer look at the Stoeger P3000 pump-action shotgun, the latest addition to our #SundayGunday series.

We recently covered one of 2016's best values in the budget-friendly Stoeger P3000, which impressed our reviewer. It impressed consumers, too, because for 2017 Stoeger has announced the P3500—the same gun, essentially, just chambered for those big ol' 3½-inch shells.

Finding the right shotgun fit means everything, but it's exceptionally difficult if you're sporting a smaller frame than what your scattergun was designed for. The average female shooter is smaller in stature than their male counterparts, companies have been recognizing and adjusting for that in recent years. Franchi is joining in the party in 2016 with the introduction of its Catalyst line of shotguns.

The powerful, big-bore "Texan" from AirForce Airguns features a two-stage trigger that releases a sizable burst of air from its 490cc removable and refillable air tank, driving .457-cal. projectiles in excess of 1000 fps.
