Just in time for Independence Day, Savage has announced its Star Spangled Rascal rimfire. Dressed up in American-flag camouflage, this red, white and blue rifle is perfect for patriotic young shooters.

“It is our responsibility to help teach firearm safety to the next generation of American hunters and marksmen,” said Beth Shimanski, director of marketing for Savage Arms. “but that doesn’t mean the tools we use to teach can’t be fun. We’re proud of our American heritage and we’re showing that pride with these diminutive guns that are built to the same demanding standards as every other Savage.”

The small rimfire will further help build a junior shooter's confidence, with an adjustable peep sight and a user-adjustable AccuTrigger. While the announcement came in time for the 4th of July, the rifle, unfortunately, will not, with the first not slated to begin shipping in August. Nonetheless, you can place your order for one today at your local Savage dealer. For more information, please visit savagearms.com.
