Mystery Ranch has announced an update to the Metcalf series, making it a modular hunting pack that can be customized for any adventure. The Metcalf will now consist of three pack sizes ranging from 50 to 100 liters, resting on the new Ultra Light MT frame

“How do we improve one of the most popular hunting packs on the market? It wasn’t an easy task, but we pulled it off,” said Tim Hoffer, hunting sales manager at Mystery Ranch. “The Ultra Light MT Metcalf series kept every hunting-focused feature required, but we streamlined the frame, lightened up the textiles and now offer up three volume options, so you are covered from long day hunts all the way to super remote hunts where you are living out of your pack for days on end. And we cut out unnecessary weight, so you can go farther, faster.”

The Metcalf 50, 75 and 100 are rich in features with interior and exterior attachment points for customization. The series sports a roll-top closure with one side zip to allow easy access to large items. Zippered pockets on the lid are create secure and simple access to smaller accessories.

The Ultra Light MT frame is a minimalistic platform focused on functionality and comfort afield. Mystery Ranch's lightest hunting frame to date was achieved by tapering the bottom width and streamlining the waist belt. The frame also has a higher Overload shelf for more balanced pack outs and a taller frame height with micro-adjustable load-lifted points. This frame offers everything needed for the backcountry, without any fluff.

The new Metcalf Series will also offer new colorways that Mystery Ranch has recently introduced. The Metcalf will be available in traditional Foliage and Subalpine, with updated options of Buckskin and Ponderosa. Both Men's and Women’s sizing and frame options are available.
