Kent Cartridge is recalling specific lots of select 12-gauge and 20-gauge shotshell ammunition due to the potential for excessive chamber pressure when fired. The issue is limited to the product code and lot number combinations identified below.
Kent Cartridge has determined that affected ammunition could generate excessive chamber pressure during firing, which may damage the firearm, render it inoperable, and expose the shooter and bystanders to a risk of serious personal injury.
Out of an abundance of caution, consumers are urged to immediately discontinue use of any product identified in this recall and follow the instructions provided below. A product is affected only if both the product code and corresponding lot number match one of the combinations listed below.

How to Determine if Your Ammunition is Affected
Locate the product code and lot number on the product box label. The recall applies only when both identifiers match a combination listed above.
If you possess ammunition included in this recall:
- Immediately discontinue its use.
- Separate it from ammunition not subject to this recall.
- Do not sell, distribute or transfer the affected ammunition.
- Contact Kent Cartridge for return and replacement instructions.
