Hornady Manufacturing was presented with the “2014 Ammunition Manufacturer of the Year” Award by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) at an awards ceremony during the organization's Expo & 41st Annual Meeting last week in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Over 450 members attended the event. This is the fifth year in a row that Hornady has been chosen for this award.

"This award means a lot to us," Hornady Director of Sales Renae Waltemath said. "We have worked very hard to produce high quality products and we are honored that our ammunition has been recognized for the fifth year in a row."

Each year, NASGW awards the accessory, ammunition, and firearms manufacturers who they feel best demonstrate a commitment to two-step distribution and who provide outstanding value and service. For 2014, Leupold & Stevens, Inc., Birchwood Casey, Sturm, Ruger and Company, Inc. and IWI US, Inc. were all honored within their respective categories, as well.

Mossberg, meanwhile, received the organization's "Innovator of the Year" award.
