The VaprTrek, from Irish Setter, combines Realtree camouflage and full-grain waterproof leather, with SnakeGuard protection and flex-point leather reinforcement, for a durable snake boot. An EVA footbed with a memory foam top layer is breathable, providing fatigue-fighting comfort. The uppers are fully waterproof, thanks to the aforementioned full-grain leather, with Rip Stop fabric, military-grade quick-dry linings, and an additional layer of Ultra Dry waterproofing. The collar is constructed of memory foam for multi-climate comfort, while a Cushin Comfort tongue and ScentBan scent control round out these boots' top side.

For longevity, Armatec XT technology adds abrasion resistance in high-wear areas of the heel and toe. Beneath, a nylon shank adds arch support, while EnerG technology within the dual-density midsole promises extra comfort in heel and forefoot impact zones. For traction, the outsole is constructed with multi-tiered, self-cleaning lugs. Rubber pods are also utilized, toward the same end. Finally, a wrap-around instep provides extra grip on tree stand rungs, or foot pegs on an ATV.

Michigan Mayor Looks Down on Guns and Dogs

“If you’ve got a gun, you should be ashamed of yourself,” said Grand Rapids Mayor David LaGrand. NRA-ILA also noted that in his response to a police K-9 chasing down a suspect, LaGrand said: “It is time that we ask, ‘What are dogs good for?’ Like, if you need a dog to find someone in the woods, get a hound dog. If you need to chase somebody in a backyard, why couldn’t you do that with a drone? If my dog did what I saw in that video, I’d put my dog down.”
