ALPS OutdoorZ, manufacturer of hunting packs and gear for big-game hunters, turkey hunters and waterfowlers, has partnered with Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever for the Save the Lifestyle (STL) Mentor Pledge. Intended to curtail the falling number of hunters in the United States, the STL Mentor Pledge encourages veteran outdoorsmen and women to take a less-experienced or new hunter into the field, to teach them how to hunt ethically and successfully, while emphasizing the importance of habitat conservation, and illustrating the value of hunting culture and heritage through one-on-one mentorship.

Participation in the program is easy, and even comes with the possibility of several prizes. To enter, mentor participants can visit the ALPS OutdoorZ Save The Lifestyle webpage, read the application guidelines and complete the online entry form. Upon conclusion of the program on Dec. 31st, three successful entrants will win one of several prize packages:

Grand Prize
One pair of winners will get to experience the Hunt of a Lifetime in the fall season of 2020, sponsored by Pheasants Forever, Quail Forever and ALPS OutdoorZ. This winning team will be announced in January of 2020.

Location: A premier pheasant-hunting destination in South Dakota
Dates: Fall of 2020*
Duration: Three nights and two days of prime pheasant hunting
What's included: Lodging, meals, guides, dogs and shells are all provided. The winning pair will also receive a special gift package on behalf of ALPS OutdoorZ and Pheasants Forever, including a 1-year Pheasants Forever Associate Membership.

Second Prize
Two 2nd Place winners will each receive a $500 gift card for use on alpsoutdoorz.com.

In addition to the above, the first 50 pairs who submit valid content will receive a 1-year Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever Associate Membership for both mentor and mentee (100 memberships total), underwritten by ALPS OutdoorZ.
