Dryshod has released a new camouflaged boot in the runup to hunting season. The NoSho Gusset is 100-percent waterproof, and built around DryShod’s 5mm Densoprene foam insulated bootie with an integrated four-way stretch breathable AirMesh lining. This material combination promises protection against water intrusion while providing optimal airflow inside the boot, to prevent moisture buildup even during those warm early autumn afternoons.
On the outside, Hydrokote water-repellent treatment prevents water saturation, allowing water to roll off and the boots to dry in seconds. Underneath, all-terrain traction is a durable DS1 molded outsole with an aggressive tread pattern that grips hard soil and digs into mud to keep you going no matter trail conditions. Support comes via double Achilles’ heel and instep reinforcement.
For added protection from brush and briars, the NoSho Gusset is two inches taller than the standard NoSho boot and includes an expandable gusset and adjustable locking strap to fit larger calves and to accommodate heavy, multi-layered clothing for cold-weather hunting.
The NoSho Gusset has a fully camouflaged upper and is available in men’s sizes 7-16. For more information, please visit dryshodusa.com. MSRP: $184.95

Have you ever spent hours at the range zeroing a rifle only to learn it is nowhere near center when you go to confirm it at camp? On this week's #SundayGunday, we’re taking a look at the latest modern sporting rifle from Ruger, the Harrier. Chambered in classic 5.56, this is a great rifle for any hog or predator hunter targeting large packs or sounders. Learn more in this exclusive video.
With whitetail populations in some areas exceeding management goals, many states are offering special seasons, extra tags, and other incentives to entice hunters to get out there early and more often. States also offer early opportunities for many other big-game species; in fact, there are so many opportunities that it can be difficult to even keep up with your own state, whereas early seasons across state boundaries can easily be missed out on.
