For 2019, Ravin Crossbows has introduced its new R26 crossbow, which the company says is its most compact and lightweight crossbow to date.

Weighing in at just 6.5 pounds, the R26 is sending arrows off the rail at speeds of 400 fps. The R26 is small but mighty when you consider the speeds are generated from a 9.5-inch power stroke, and the bow measures just 26 inches in length.

Ravin’s R26 axle-to-axle width is at 5.75 inches when fully drawn—to say it is compact is an understatement. A Trac-Trigger Firing System is a built-in trigger mechanism that clasps directly to the center of the string every time, for a perfectly balanced draw and straight-line nock travel.

The new crossbow utilizes the company’s HeliCoil technology that coils cables away from both the top and bottom of the cams in helical grooves keeping the cams perfectly balanced. The technology allows the cams to rotate 340 degrees, while both cams remain perfectly level when drawing and shooting.

The R26 will be available in the new Predator Dusk Camo, exclusive to Ravin Crossbows, and comes fully assembled with all the accessories needed to take it out of the box and head for the range, including an illuminated scope, quiver, draw handle, 400-grain arrows and more.

The new Ravin R26 crossbow has an MSRP of $2,049.99. For more information, visit ravincrossbows.com.
