Leupold & Stevens has introduced its new line of VX-Freedom line of entry-level riflescopes, which the company says is designed for the hunter seeking elite optical performance at a budget-friendly price.

The VX-Freedom features the company’s Twilight Light Management System, which should help achieve less glare and higher performance in low-light conditions, giving hunters the opportunity to make the most of their day afield from first to last light. Along with being waterproof and fogproof, the VX-Freedom’s military-spec outer lens surfaces are scratch resistant, offering protection in all hunting conditions.

“Our new VX-Freedom line delivers the versatility and performance hunters and shooters have come to expect from the Leupold brand, all while remaining budget-friendly,” said Tim Lesser, vice president of product development for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “Whether you’re looking for your first scope or your fortieth, there will be a VX-Freedom that suits your needs—all sporting our legendary gold ring.”

New models are available in 1.5-4x20mm, 2-7x33mm, 3x9-40mm, 3x9-50mm and 4-12x40mm, all offering second focal plane reticles and 1-inch maintubes. The new line will offer muzzleloader, rimfire and centerfire options. Duplex, Pig-Plex and the company’s new Rimfire MOA, Tri-MOA and UltimateSlam reticles will also be available.

The VX-Freedom line has an MSRP of $234.99-$389.99. For more information, go to leupold.com.
