Browning has announced that it will be adding four new calibers to its BXR Deer lineup for 2017. 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm-08, 7mm Rem. Mag. and .270 WSM will join the team this fall.

Each new addition features a nickel-plated shellcase and bullet jacket along with Browning Ammunition's Rapid Expansion Matrix Tip. The Matrix Tip is designed to allow for superior downrange velocity and energy retention while initiating rapid expansion.

“Deer hunting is the most popular hunting pursuit in America and these new offerings will open the door for more hunters to experience the outstanding performance of BXR,” said Ben Frank, Browning Ammunition brand manager.

New offerings include:

• 6.5 Creedmoor (129-grain)
• 7mm-08 (144-grain)
• 7mm Rem. Mag. (144-grain)
• .270 WSM (134-grain)

Browning BXR is available in 20-round boxes.
