The NRA Mentor Initiative Program has returned for 2017. As part of the program, we are encouraging all 5 million NRA members to mentor a new shooter. Why is this important? Because more than 40 million Americans—maybe some of your neighbors, co-workers or family members—purchased their first guns in recent years, and many of them need help learning how to handle firearms confidently and safely. This is the third year NRA Publications has spearheaded the initiative

Winchester Ammunition has joined us a sponsor, and has contributed to the 30 prizes you could be eligible to win in the official Mentor Sweepstakes. See details on that here. You can also learn more about the program by watching the video embedded above, which was filmed at the 146th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Atlanta, Ga.
