Avery Outdoors has announced its new Heritage Clothing line, which will be kickstarted in 2017 with the introduction of the new Heritage Jacket.

Waxed cotton jackets were originally developed for the sailing and fishing industry, once upon a time. Waterfowl hunters didn't hesitate to make use of them, either. It's with that in mind that Avery designed the Heritage Jacket. It features 8-ounce waxed cotton construction that's waterproof and windproof, to help protect you from the elements often found when chasing ducks across the globe.

A waterproof hood is included. The fleece lined upper chest pockets will keep your hands warm between flights of birds. Side pockets contain shell loops for convenient ammunition storage. A YKK zippered front with 3-button storm placket should keep out the morning chill. In a snazzy looking package, too.

The Avery Heritage Jacket ships with an MSRP of $219.99.

Have you ever spent hours at the range zeroing a rifle only to learn it is nowhere near center when you go to confirm it at camp?
